Our Francophone Africa Director, Dr Pauline Golder, has been asked by the local accrediting body to develop a new training program for faculty in the region. The focus will be on pedagogy and academic administration. It is a great need with around 1,000 faculty members being required to do the course. She has already prepared 10 trainers who can teach the Certificate in Pedagogy (currently being developed) and another 20 are in progress to be able to teach the one thousand faculty members.
